2010 Philippines Presidential Election What If

The 2010 Philippines Presidential Election is almost over and Liberal Party standard bearer Senator Noynoy Aquino still leading the tally. While other presidential aspirants have already conceded the race, Senator Aquino has a huge 5 million vote gap against Former President Erap Estrada, who still have his hopes high up.

"What if the Commission on Election disqualified Erap?" In my opinion regarding this scenario, it would have been a tight battle between Noynoy and Villar. There is a good chance that votes for Estrada would reflect to votes for Villar. Based on current partial result: Aquino's 13,744,299 votes against Villar's 4,966,821 + Estrada's 8,693,793 = 13,660,614.

"What If Senator Mar Roxas didn't make the ultimate sacrifice and is still the Liberal Party's standard bearer?" Tough call on this. Estrada proved to have too many supporters. It would have been a battle between the Administration versus the Opposition. The Administration probably would have supported Manny Villar all the way instead of Gibo Teodoro to keep off Erap off the palace.

Well sadly, I'm no political analyst. These thoughts are just from my own opinions.
